Stadtführungen im August
Das Amt für Kultur der Stadt Sindelfingen bietet im August drei Stadtführungen an. Diese starten jeweils am i-Punkt, Marktplatz 1. Tickets sind am i-Punkt für 5 € pro Person erhältlich; Kinder können kostenlos teilnehmen.
Sonntag, 11. August 2024, 15:00 Uhr„Historische Stadtführung“Im Mittelpunkt dieser Stadtführung steht der historische Kern Sindelfingens mit der romanischen Martinskirche und dem Chorherrenstift. Bereits seit Jahrtausenden leben Menschen im Bereich der heutigen Stadt Sindelfingen. Von der römischen Ansiedlung bis zur modernen Industriestadt war es ein weiter Weg. Die Stadt wurde im Jahr 1263 gegründet. Die romanische Martinskirche bestand damals schon als Mittelpunkt eines Chorherrenstifts, das weit über die Region hinaus bekannt war. Beim historischen Stadtrundgang können noch viele alte Spuren entdeckt werden. Sonntag, 18. August 2024, 15:00 Uhr„Sindelfingen in den 1920er-Jahren“ Wie verläuft das Leben in der Zeit von 1918 bis 1932 in Sindelfingen? Die Stadtführung beleuchtet die Zeitspanne vom Kriegsende 1918 bis zum Ende der Amtszeit des Bürgermeisters Wilhelm Hörmann im Juni 1932. In diesen turbulenten Jahren wurde die Entwicklung Sindelfingens maßgeblich vorangetrieben und es wurden Weichen für die Zukunft gestellt. Sunday, 25th August 2024, 3 p.m.“Historical city tour in English”The emphasis of this tour lays on the historical centre of Sindelfingen with the Romanesque church „Martinskirche“ and the canon monastery. People have been living in the area of today's city of Sindelfingen for thousands of years. It was a long way from the Roman settlement to the modern industrial city. The town was founded in 1263. The Romanesque Martinskirche already existed at that time as the centre of a canon monastery, which was well known far beyond the region. During the historical city tour many old traces can still be discovered. Tickets cost 5€ per person; kids can attend for free. The tour starts at the i-Punkt, Marktplatz 1.
